Message from the Foreign Affairs Office of  　　the People’s Government of Shanxi Province  　　to Foreign Nationals in Shanxi 亲爱的朋友们： 　　针对近期新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，山西省委、省政府高度重视，于1月24日启动了重大突发公共卫生事件一级响应，各项疫情防控工作有序展开。在此，我们向在晋的各位外籍朋友提出如下倡议： 　　Dear friends, 　　　　To cope with the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Shanxi Province have made comprehensive deployment on its prevention and control after launching the highest-level (level one) public health response on January 24, 2020. The Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Shanxi hereby sends the following message to the foreign friends living and traveling in Shanxi. 　　一、减少外出活动。避免前往人员密集场所，暂停聚会聚餐等群体性活动。与别人谈话时尽量保持1米以上距离，回家后请第一时间用洗手液和流动水洗手或用含乙醇的手消毒剂进行手卫生。从医院回来尽量先洗澡，换洗衣物。 　　1. Reduce or avoid outdoor activities. Please stay away from crowds, and cancel parties, group dinners and other group activities. Keep a distance of more than 1 meter when talking with others. After returning home, immediately wash your hands with hand sanitizer and running water, or use the hand disinfectant containing alcohol. When you come back from the hospital, take a shower and change your clothes first. 　　二、做好自我防护。保持良好的个人卫生习惯，咳嗽、打喷嚏时务必使用纸巾或肘部捂住口鼻。外出时佩戴防护口罩，废弃口罩规范投放。注意居所卫生，适当开窗通风。避免接触任何野生动物或禽类动物，减少生冷食物摄入，食用熟食，多喝热水。 　　2. Please keep good personal hygiene. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or flexed elbow when coughing or sneezing. Please wear a mask when going out and properly dispose the used mask. Please keep your room clean and open the window for fresh air. Please avoid unprotected contact with wild animals or birds. Cut eating cold and undercooked food. Have thoroughly cooked food and drink hot water.  　　三、定期测量体温。若出现发热、咳嗽、胸闷、乏力等症状，第一时间佩戴防护口罩到山西省各地定点医疗机构就诊。 　　3. Please measure body temperature on a regular basis. When such symptoms as fever, cough, breathing difficulty, or general weakness occur, please wear a mask and seek medical care right away at designated hospitals. 　　四、为做好防控工作，保护您及您的家人身体健康，山西省人民政府外事办公室提醒您，敬请密切关注中国政府官方发布的疫情通报、山西省政府发布的相关信息及预防措施，加强自身防护。 　　4.
